Cycling Event: Green treasures of Bilogora
New cyclo-touristic event by cyclotourist portal Nippy Adventures
Croatia is a country which every year attracts more and more tourists, as well as many of those who love cycling and who want to discover a region in a unique way, by bike.
There is nothing more beautiful than to jump on the bike and explore first-hand some unknown places, taste different flavours and meet hosts who will surprise you with their hospitality.
Nippy adventures have bike tours for an experienced cyclist, weekend drivers or long-range bike riders which you can enjoy, the best way to see the beauty of Slavonia, Baranja, and the river Drava.
Behind the Nippy Adventures stands Mario Koren, cyclo-tourism guide, cycling and photography enthusiast, a biker with long experience and a wandering spirit.
Mario has participated in many different projects:
Drava4Enjoy and EuroVelo13 (tracing routes through Virovitica Podravina County, making photos and articles).
Cyclo-touristic ride “Green treasures of Bilogora” organized by the portal for the promotion of cycling tourism Nippy Adventures, in collaboration with the Bjelovar-Bilogora county and country estate Villa Bilogore, to be held on April 9, 2017.
Gathering for the event will be at 10 am on the estate Villa Bilogore (Small Dapčevica, HR-43290 Grubišno Polje), and there will be organized group trip to the estate from the centre of
Virovitica (in front of the Zagreb bank) with the departure time set at 8 am.
The registration fee for the whole package (cycling and all other activities organized on the estate Villa Bilogore) is 60kn.
But this bike tour is not all, this event is more than just a cycling ride. If you want to find out why Bilogora is perfect for a cycling adventure join us and discover for yourself.
On the estate, before we go for a ride will be served traditional Bilogorski breakfast. There will be homemade bread from the baker’s oven, cracklings, bacon, sausages, škripavac cheese, and a few more delicacies.
Just enough to gain energy before the ride, and after returning from a journey, for lunch, we will have a traditional beef stew with homemade noodles. A delicious meal to restore energy after the journey.

If you would like to participate in this unique cycling event, please come to Virovitica at 8 am on April 9, 2017 for the group departure towards the estate Villa Bilogore, or you can come directly to the farm at 10 am.
This cycling route is a 44 kilometres long, quite hilly and mostly gravel path with some quite steep climbs.
Therefore, judge for yourself whether you have a good enough bike and fitness for such a ride.
The registration fee for cycling is 60kn which provides the breakfast, lunch, wine tasting, and participation in a raffle.
Valid registration for the cycling ride is the payment of the 60 kn registration fee to the VILA BILOGORE BANK ACCOUNT: IBAN: HR5323600003241369652, with a reference “for cycling.”
